Welcome Mischa Lukas Nelson, our 1000th Baby

NEW DAWN MIDWIFERY celebrated their 1000th baby on Feb 7th with the birth of Mischa Lukas Nelson, a son, born to Kelly West and Lloyd Nelson of Zirconia, NC. The parents called Aimee Adams, Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM), around 4:30 am and all headed toward Mission Hospital. Soon after arrival, Kelly stepped into the tub in one of the water birth rooms and at 8 am delivered their son. His father assisted in the "catch". Big sister Maya was present to witness the birth.
